1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using NoticiaLingo (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Who we are
NoticiaLingo is operated by the NoticiaLingo team. Contact us at legal@noticialingo.com for questions about these terms or the Service.
3. The service
NoticiaLingo provides Spanish-language learning lessons generated from publicly available news articles, plus optional premium features such as the AI Teacher chat, personalised lessons, progress analytics, and theming.
4. Account rules
One account per person. You may not share or sell access to your account, and you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to scrape, reverse-engineer, or automate access to the Service, and not to use it in a way that violates any third-party terms or applicable law.
6. Intellectual property
Lesson content, including AI-generated translations and exercises, is owned by NoticiaLingo. You retain rights to anything you submit (such as AI Teacher chats), and grant us a limited licence to display your display name and progress to friends via the leaderboard.
7. User-generated content
AI Teacher conversations, display names, and other content you provide must not be illegal, abusive, deceptive, or designed to harass others.
8. Subscription terms
Paid subscriptions are not yet active. Premium previews shown in the app describe features that will be available once payments launch in a future phase. We will publish updated subscription terms before charging anyone.
9. Warranty disclaimer
The Service is provided on an "as-is" basis. We do not guarantee any specific learning outcomes or uninterrupted availability.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the Service is capped at the greater of (a) fees you paid us in the prior 12 months and (b) USD 100.
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
12. Changes to these terms
For material changes, we will notify you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where NoticiaLingo is incorporated. Disputes are resolved exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction unless local law requires otherwise.
